This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, payments, and refunds may be handled for separately paid educational services offered by Legacy Builders LD.
Insurance products and premiums are governed separately by the applicable insurance carrier and are not subject to this website service-refund policy.

Complimentary Strategy Sessions
The initial Strategy Session is complimentary. Because no fee is charged for the initial session, there is generally no payment to refund.
Paid Educational Services
If a workshop, educational program, consultation, or other service has a fee, the applicable price, scope, payment terms, and cancellation conditions will be disclosed before payment is required.
Insurance Transactions
Insurance premiums and insurance-contract transactions are handled through the applicable insurance carrier or authorized provider and are subject to that provider’s terms.

1. When This Policy Applies
This policy applies to separately paid educational services provided by Legacy Builders LD, when applicable.
Examples may include paid workshops, educational programs, customized presentations, or other services for which a fee is disclosed in advance.
This policy does not govern insurance premiums, insurance-policy charges, carrier fees, or other transactions controlled by an insurance company or third-party provider.
2. Complimentary Strategy Sessions
The initial Strategy Session offered through this website is complimentary.
Requesting or attending an initial Strategy Session does not require the purchase of an insurance or financial product.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a complimentary session, we ask that you provide reasonable notice whenever possible so the time can be made available to someone else.
3. Paid Workshops & Educational Services
If Legacy Builders LD offers a service for a fee, the applicable terms will be communicated before payment is required.
Depending on the service, those terms may address:
- Service or program fee
- Scope of services
- Date and format
- Rescheduling requirements
- Cancellation deadlines
- Refund eligibility
- Deposits, if applicable
- Any non-refundable amounts
For customized workshops or programs, the proposal, invoice, confirmation, or written agreement may contain additional terms specific to that engagement.
If those engagement-specific terms differ from this general policy, the terms provided for that specific service should control.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients who need to cancel or reschedule a paid service should contact Legacy Builders LD as soon as reasonably possible.
Any specific cancellation deadline or rescheduling requirement applicable to a paid service will be disclosed before payment or included in the applicable proposal, invoice, confirmation, or agreement.
I prefer this over automatically publishing “48 hours or non-refundable” unless you have firmly decided that is your actual business rule for every paid service.
If you do want a universal 48-hour rule, you can still add it here later.
5. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the type of service, timing of cancellation, work already completed, and any terms disclosed for the applicable engagement.
When a refund is approved, it will generally be returned through the original payment method or payment provider when reasonably available.
Processing time may depend on the applicable financial institution or third-party payment provider.
Legacy Builders LD will not promise a specific bank-processing timeframe that is outside its control.
6. Payments & Payment Providers
If payment is required for a service, Legacy Builders LD may provide an invoice, payment link, or other approved payment method.
General website inquiry forms should not be used to submit payment-card numbers or other sensitive payment information.
Payment processing may be handled by an independent third-party payment provider. That provider may process payment information according to its own terms, privacy practices, and security procedures.
Legacy Builders LD may receive limited transaction information such as payment status, amount, or confirmation when applicable.
7. Insurance Products & Premiums
Insurance products are issued by insurance companies and are governed by the applicable policy, carrier requirements, and applicable law.
Insurance premiums are not payments for a Legacy Builders LD educational workshop or consultation.
Questions concerning premium refunds, policy cancellation, free-look periods, surrender provisions, or other insurance-contract matters should be addressed according to the applicable insurance policy and carrier procedures.
This is an important distinction and deserves its own section.
8. Changes to This Policy
Legacy Builders LD may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy as services, payment practices, or business operations change.
